Accessibility From the south highway A27 to Belluno, state road 51Alemagna, then state road 203 Agordina and finally provincial road 347 Passo Duran. From the north highway A22 Brennero exit Ora, then take state road 346 Passo S. Pellegrino, take state road 203 Agordina; or state road 48 of the Dolomites, then state road 203 Agordina and then provincial 347. The closest train station is in Belluno (33 Km).

Historical information Of interest, the little church built in 1703 after a terrible mud slide called "la boa" almost covered the town. Inside of the church there are prestigious paintings by Besarel and Lazzarini. In the village of Fades, inside a particular area of the house the precious and ancient Black Madonna is kept which is the religious symbol of this town which was found among the debris left by the mudslide. Another element of culture and popular devotion are the famous "capitelli" little structures made of wood which represent sacred images and are placed at the intersections of roads and walk paths. They are placed here in order for people to reflect. In the past year when the economy was based on agriculture these images were used for different types of religious functions such as rosary and processions to invoke good weather and harvests.

Useful information Housing: Two hotels and many private apartments for a total of 100 beds; rest stations located at Duran pass. At La Valle there is a mountain bike school with federal instruction and bike rental. During the winter period there is a cross country ski area with night-lighted rink.
