Historical information Ospitale di Cadore was born around the year one thousand. Its name derives from an old hospice for travelers. There are still some of the ruins of this ancient gothic mansion. Along the river Piave , during the 1400's a lot of saw-mills rose. It belong in this county also the villages Termine, Davestra and Rivalgo.
