Historical information Perarolo di Cadore (532 m) was created around the end of the '300 and the beginning of the '400 when the wood trade required a large river port. The confluence of the rivers Piave and Boite was the perfect place. This characteristic represented the main source of wealth for this town up until the beginning of the '900. Here many of the richest Italian families flourished, such as the Zuliani's and the Lazzaris', who had as their guest in 1881 and 1882 Margherita -The Queen of Italy.
