It is one of the few everlasting glaciers left on the Dolomite mountain chain, even if it is constantly decreasing due to warmer temperatures and pollution. On the North-East side there are the most important spectacular glaciers of the Dolomite: the Superior Glacier and the Inferior Glacier. They are divided by a rocky edge, and are the ultimate desired place for every skiers.
